"Who is that awesome singer?"

Andrew "A.J." Conolly:  Lead Vocals / Guitar

I know what you're thinking, "Why can't my band have such a great singer?"  Well, it's because A.J. is our singer.  Ha!  Not only can he hit notes only canines can hear, but he can dance like no white man should.

A.J. Has fronted several successful bands from Kenosha to Milwaukee (bands like 2-Sides Live and Giant Steps).  He respects his audience and is always thankful for their support.

"Your bass player rules!"

Paul Balistreri: Bass Guitar / Vocals

Paul has the energy of a ferret on a double espresso.  Can he dance?  No.  Can he move?  OH YEAH!
(Don't try it at home or you'll need a neck brace in the morning.)

His 5-string Music Man bass is his #1, but you can expect to see Paul sliding around his fretless on a few tunes.

Say "Hi" to Paul when you see him.  He may be the nicest guy you'll ever meet.

"I've never heard a guitar do that!"

John "J.T." Tyler: Lead Guitar / Vocals

There's loud. There's louder.  Then there's J.T.  Don't ask him to turn it down, he won't hear you.

J.T. loves playing the guitar.  He loves the gear too!  Check out his one-of-a-kind Suhr 6-string.  Or his handmade Guytron amp.  Or his AxeFX rack unit.  Or that monster footswitcher that controls it all.

If you're a connoisseur of tone, you'll dig J.T.'s rig.

"Hey drummer guy, where's the beer?"

Don Sieg:  Drums and/or More Drums

How did this geek get in such a killer band?  Hey, even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes.
(Plus, he owns the P.A.)

All joking aside, Don's a solid drummer who, like J.T., is a fan of his instrument.  While he usually shows up with his Tama B/B kit, he might surprise you with his DW Collectors or his Pearl Masterworks.

(PS  Don doesn't sweat, he makes his own gravy.)

Merry Christmas!

Loved seeing everyone at Player's Park last night!  That was a fun way to close out 2011.  We'll be back at PP next April.

Any new song suggestions for 2012?  Let us know here or over on our Facebook page.

Now go enjoy your families during the holidays!

So the Badgers are going to the Rose Bowl.  Everyone who came to our gig last Saturday is very aware of that!  You see, the Big 10 Championship game was a late one, and since we didn't want to play during the game, well....we waited to start until the game was over (oh, we did play a short set during halftime).  Anyway, we finished the night without a break.  A nice, two-and-a-half hour set!  Yeah baby!  We're gamers!

Did you guess that The Clubhouse Pub in Kenosha is a sports bar?  Well, they must have had more than a dozen flat-screens tuned to the big game.  (Just like heaven.)  I'm sure we'll be back there next year.

See y'all in two weeks at Players Park!

Happy Halloween!

It was AMAZING to see everyone at the 'Watha on Saturday night!  The costumes were fantastic!  Everybody looked terriffic!  I've never been to a Halloween party with so many people in costume!  (Am I gushing?)  The bartenders (who also looked great in costume, by the way) told us it was their best Hallowen party in YEARS!

Just a thought, should we make the Hiawatha a yearly Halloween event?  Whattaya think?

See ya soon!

AJ is still struggling to get out of his Austin Powers trousers...yeah baby, yeah...

Whoa, my bad!  I try to blog a little after every show, but I've been a slacker!  Here's what's been happening since last we spoke:   We played a new venue up in Port Washington last month.  The place is called Foxy's, and it's a cool club with a cool vibe.  It reminded me of the places that had live music back in the 80's.  You know, the places with dedicated stages and crowds of live-music-lovers.  However, the audience was NOTHING like "back in the …

Our first experience at the Wisconsin State Fair was a blast!  The folks at The Brew City Stage kept us fed and watered better than the blue ribbon cattle!  And I should not forget to mention the big group of Girl Scout Camp Councelors that monopolized the dance floor all night!  FUN!!

I hope they let us do it again next year!

Last night at Mo's Irish Pub Downtown, we did something we've NEVER done before...we played our entire show WITHOUT A BREAK!  Yup, 200 minutes of music straight through!  Three hours and 20 minutes is a long time, believe me!  Holy sweat!    Like JT said, "We are a bunch of GAMERS!"

Next up is the State Fair.  Boy, are we excited about that!  (I hope I get some chocolate-covered bacon on a stick!)  It sure is fun to keep getting all these cool gigs.

See you soon!

Yesterday, we played at Six Flags in the water park.  (By the way, THANKS to the folks who came and watched!)  Apparently, and without our knowledge, someone moved Gurnee Illinois to within a quarter mile of the sun!  By that I mean IT WAS HOT!  Thankfully there were pools everywhere to jump in between sets.  I'll be honest, we could NOT have pulled this gig off without our incredible "crew".  Jim (light tech), was there to set up, tear down AND unload the trailer at home after the gig!  Fred (sound) not only lugged gear and ran the P.A., but he was wise enough to bring a portable tent/canopy to keep the sun at bay!  These two guys are part of this band as much as any of us.   Oh, and we also want to thank the volunteer "muscle" that Paul brought.

I love this band!

We hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day weekend.  We did...

We expected to be home with our families all weekend, but fate had other plans.  A band scheduled to appear at Chocolate Fest in Burlington had to cancel - we were called to fill in.  Our set went over very well so the kind folks at ChocoFest asked if we'd be interested in playing on the Main Stage next year.  Yes!

(And in case you're wondering, they DID give us a huge bag full of chocolate after the show!)

Yee-Haw!

Happy Mother's Day!

Thanks to all the hot moms who came out to the 'Watha last night, it was fun!  Everyone got to help me celebrate my birthday...WITH CAKE!   There were a few other birthdays as well, plus we even a celebrated a 23-year wedding anniversary (congrats Potsie and Dawn)!

We certanly saw some "interesting" dancing too (if you were there, you know what I'm talking about).

Put June 24th on your calendars, our next public show is in Kenosha at St. Mark's Festival!

This is starting to sound redundant, but WHAT A CROWD at Player's Park last night!  We really didn't know what to expect, being a new venue for us, but well north of 100 people showed up...AGAIN!  "Thanks!" to our old friends, new friends, families, and the locals who stuck around to have fun with us.  The good news is that we're booked back at Player's Park in December (it was our next open date), and they promised to have more seating by then!

An embarrassment of riches, that's what we have right now!  We really hate to turn down potential gigs, but it's happening more and more.  2011 is all booked up; we're looking at 2012 for any new bookings.  And that's more because of all of you who come to the shows than because of the band.

YOU ROCK!
